What book development includes:
Interviews with our team. You speak, we document and curate.
Our manuscript developers will meet with you for a strategy session and an outlining session before conducting a series of 10-15 biweekly interviews. Using these interviews, we will write your book in your voice, using your stories and expertise.
eBook Formatting & Design
eBook option for digital reading devices will be designed. Includes one round of cosmetic revisions.
Proofreading & Editing
Our editors will go beyond basic punctuation and grammar and will assess the overall structure of the work. One round of structural editing and two rounds of grammatical copy-editing are included. This enhanced feedback-to-revision process involves four main stages/types of editing: developmental, stylistic, copy, and proofreading.
Creative Direction, Consulting, & Support
Assistance with style, design, and creative direction of the work. Support for printing, product versions, printer’s proofs, revisions, weekly updates, print setup, sales reporting, and other needs that may arise.
Layout, Formatting, & Design
Cover and interior design, layout, and formatting of the work for print. This includes one round of concept revision and two rounds of cosmetic revisions to the exterior of the book. This also includes one round of concept revision to the interior design and two rounds of cosmetic revisions.
Coordination Of All Publishing Details
Setup of a paperback edition of the work for Print on Demand and for global distribution on over 40,000 retailers. Includes an ISBN for paperback, hardback, and eBook, and all of your publishing needs. Copyright registered in your name. Author retains 100% ownership, rights, and royalties.
Book Marketing Battle Plan
Our team will align with you on your marketing strategy with two 60-minute planning and development sessions. You will receive a customized 4-6 page plan for organic brand growth, with actionable steps to maximize your return on investment, and optimize your marketing time spend.
